Light My Fire and Lestat OLD have a very successful show at Royal West 2024

Light My Fire and Lestat OLD both travelled with Ashley Arnoldt to the Royal West Show in Calgary, which was hosting the Show Jumping Canada Championships.

Light My Fire and Ashley were overall silver medalist and also received the top Jr/Amateur award. They were 3rd overall in the $25,000 phase 2 laying a beautiful trip with a base score of 88, total score of 103. In the $40,000 phase 3 Derby Ashley and Light My Fire had another beautiful round scoring an 89 base and an overall 103. These top placing’s enabled their reserve championship.

Light My Fire and Ashley were also champions of the Combined 3’3/3’6 performance Hunter Division.

Lestat OLD and Ashley also enjoyed a lot to success in the $150,000 SJC Canadian Championships.

They were clear in Phase 1 and in Phase 3 the $75,000 Spirit of the West Cup, they went double clear securing 6th place overall and also being named Top JR/Am of this Championships as well

We are thrilled that the 2 stallions and Ashley had such a great showing, the Royal West is always one of our most favourite shows of the year. Rocky Mountain Show Jumping is always runs such great shows and we are so thankful for the support that SJC gives to all the riders who attend their shows.
