Dreamscape Farm Welcomes the one and only Viscount!!!

Dreamscape Farm is thrilled to announce that the one and only Viscount will be joining us!! We could not be more excited to be able to offer a stallion of this caliber to our North American breeders. We have adored this stallion for years, and followed him, most importantly to us he is a son of our beloved Valentino. So when offered the chance to bring more of this blood to Canada we jumped on it!!

Viscount truly stunning stallion, very typey, modern, with correct conformation. He is known not only for his beautiful scopey jump, lovely movement, but also for his amazing temperament, he is so kind and willing, has an excellent character. Best of all he consistently passes down all these great traits to his offspring. He has proven to be a very consistent sire of sport horses. As mentioned, he is sired by Valentino and out of an Acorado-Imperator damline, Viscount brings highly interesting blood, as well as excellent outcross blood options.

From a young age Viscount has always stood out, named a premium stallion at his licensing, he was a crowd favourite, he was the top selling jumper stallions selling for an impressive 270,000 Euro. At his 70 day performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2012 Viscount was given 138 for jumping and 126 for dressage. This stallion was scored at 9 for character, 8.63 for rideability, 8.67 for jumping, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 7.5 walk, and 9.25 for cross country. HLP 2012: Dressage 126 and Jumping  138!!

Viscount then went win a lot in the young horses classes, and has competed up to S-level himself, always showing his beautiful stylish jumper he is.

As a sire Viscount has a very high index for type 119, which includes a 130 for neck, 128 for head and 119 for breed and sex type. His Jumping breeding index is 124, with a 128 for Technique and 121 for scope. His FN breeding values include a 125 for jumping and a 114 for dressage, showing off his very well-rounded siring ability he has already sired 5 approved sons, 3 in the Hanoverian stud book, 31 state premium mares/candidates, as well as multiple auction horses and foals. He has 246 registered Hanoverian offspring out in sport and has sired S level horses in both Jumping and Dressage, as well as multiple successful event horses, his offspring are showing worldwide. Here in North America, Viscount already has many successful offspring in the hunter ring. Son, Viscerado, was Vice Bundeschampion of 4-year-old dressage jumping horses in 2019. Son Vidar was a bronze medalist for Hanoverian 4 yr old dressage horses in 2018 and in 2019 placed 4th overall for 5 yr old dressage horses. at the Bundeschampionat in Germany. Not many stallions can boast his well-rounded siring abilities.

Viscount will be offered for an introductory stud fee of $1900 for 2023, we will be offering a special of $1600 for the 1st 15 mares booked and paid in full,

Viscount will be flying to the USA right away and doing his required quarantine there, before making his way to BC.  We expect him to be available for breeding here at Dreamscape Farm by April 1st
