Dreamscape Farm welcomes Finnigan
Dreamscape Farm is thrilled to announce that the one and only Finnigan will be joining us in Canada!! We are thrilled to be adding this exciting young dressage stallion to our line up! We love the F-line so much!!
We had not planned to add a dressage stallion to our line up this year, but we knew this young stallion was an incredible opportunity for North American breeders, he is everything we look for in a stallion, temperament, rideability, big elastic gaits, excellent test scores, bloodlines, type, excellent producer…...soooo we said YES, of course!!!
Finnigan is a stunning 2013 liver chestnut Hanoverian stallion sired by Floriscount, who is not only a successful Grand Prix stallion himself, and has a super dressage breeding index of 151. Through his dam line Finnigan brings the top blood and highly sought after blood of Don Schufro, along with one of our all time favourites Rubinstein, and a splash of TB blood!
Finnigan himself fascinated the crowd at his Verden licensing with his outstanding gaits! He then went on to win his 2016 14 day test with the high score of 8.96 for dressage, and a respectable 7.23 for showjumping, total 8.35.
some highlights include 10,0 character/temperament, 9.5 for rideability, 9.25 outside rider, 9.0 for his trot, 9.0 walk, 8.5 canter.
At his 2018 Sports Test Finnigan again showed his beautiful gaits, rideability and ability scored 8.44.
In 2019 Finnigan was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize as one of Hanover’s best young dressage stallions!!
Finnigan has been widely used by hanoverian breeders, and his offspring are proving to be consistently of very good quality, showing excellent gaits, good type, and minds. Already numerous foals have won foal shows, been selected for auctions, he has had sons selected for the licensing, his oldest (2017) are just starting their under saddle careers and are showing a lot of promise, already several have been selected for auctions as well. We know in the next several year we are going to see his offspring excel in the show ring as well as the breeding as they mature. This is a stallion for the future
Finnigan is the first fully approved son of Floriscount available in North America. He is fully approved Hanoverian, we will be having him approved Oldenburg Verband as well as Westfalen,
Finnigan is WFFS-Free (neg).
A very big THANK YOU to Celle and Dr Bröckmann for entrusting us with him. We think he is going to be a super cross on the North American mare base.
Finnigan will make his way to Canada later this year with Clinton’s Heart, his full breeding details will be posted along with our early booking discounts in the next couple of weeks
